Practice-It! version 3.0.5 (Thu 2012/01/26)
Practice-It is a web application to help you practice solving Java programming problems online.
Many of the problems come from our textbook, Building Java Programs (2nd edition),
by Stuart Reges and
Marty Stepp.
Other problems come from exams, labs, and discussion sections from the University of Washington's introductory Java programming courses.
To use Practice-It, first create an account, then choose a problem from our list. Type a solution and submit it to our server. The system will test it and tell you whether your solution is correct.
Developed by Marty Stepp and Jessica Miller, instructors of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington. Inspired by similar tools such as CodingBat, TuringsCraft CodeLab, JavaBall, and CodeWrite. Many problems have been added by teaching assistants and colleagues; we thank them for their help.
All end-of-chapter problems from the Building Java Programs textbook that are shown in this application are © Pearson Education. All rights reserved.
